Feathers ,glitter and flowers oh my

I've kinda caught the glam hair things bug . I started off making simple flowers and then I wanted to use feathrs . That somehow led to covering small plastic toys with glitter and they they all came together .

 

This is the first facinator I made . I started off with a feather pad and carefully stitched on sequins and the ribbon rosette . It was love .

I wear this one all the time . I can't help it it just makes me feel instantly pretty and happy .I actually broke my sewing needle making it !

and of course my glittered animals

I plan on making some brooches and rings like the fawn one ! I just think they're so cute .

 

I'm also working on some tin brooch designs but thats going to be in the works for a while .

i found you while browsing for all things "tin" in nature. i have a blog but not a type pad so i'm not quite sure on how to follow you. but i'll definitely bookmark your site. whilst the hair things arent exactly my bag, your tin art is really beautiful and well done. i'm a metal smith / painter and i've just gotten the knack (sort of ) of making tin jewelry.
